Wednesdays

Men’s Prayer Time - 7:30 a.m.
Bible Study and Prayer - 5:00 p.m.
Adult Choir - 5:40 p.m.

Thursdays

FCA gathers each Thursday at 7:30 a.m. at the PCHS (during the school year)
Women’s Ministry each Thursday at the Pickett Care and Rehab at 11:00 a.m.
Women's Bible Study at 6:00 p.m.

Dr. Bill Taylor

PASTOR-TEACHER

As a pastor, teacher, and mentor, Dr. Taylor is extremely interested in assisting those who wish to grow in God's grace and the knowledge of His Word. Since 1983, he has served in various church and education ministries in New York, Virginia, North Carolina and most recently moving from Florida to serve as pastor of the First Baptist Church here in Byrdstown. He and Beth, his wife of 38 years, have 4 adult children and two grandchildren.

Monday, 7 - Labor Day
Tuesday, 8 - Deacon’s Meeting at 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, 9 - Church Fellowship Dinner at 5:00 p.m. (Country Cooking)
Thursday, 10 - Women’s Bible Study - “Revelation” by Jen Wilkin (6:00 pm; goes through November 19)
Friday, 11 - Patriots Day — Day of Remembrance Ceremony at the Veterans Monument at 7:45 am
Saturday 12 — Pumpkin Town Quilt Show
Sunday, 13 - Prospective Membership class (if needed; 12:15 p.m. to 2:15 p.m; lunch provided)
Wednesday, 16 - WMU and Men’s Missions Meetings at 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, 27 - Family Fall Festival - 5:00 pm
